Setup Guide
Start in the account dashboard to choose a plan, import your subscription, and verify the connection. If this is your first time, follow the steps in order. Already have your subscription? Jump to the section for your platform.
Create an account and open the dashboard
Select “Start Free” below to open the VPNRich account dashboard, then set a username and password on the account creation page. No email address is required. Your username and password are all you need to save for future sign-ins. Before submitting, check your details carefully, especially capitalization and spaces. A password manager can help you avoid losing access when switching devices.
After creating your account, open the account overview and make sure you're signed in to the account you just created. The marketing site provides information; the account dashboard is where you manage plans, download clients, and get your subscription. You’ll choose a plan in the dashboard, so there’s no need to look for an installer or subscription link on this guide page.
“Start Free” takes you to the service; it does not mean the paid plans listed on this page are free. Check the plan and order pages for current prices, included data, and the total due. If you already have an account, use “Log in” in the navigation to access it and keep your orders together.
Choose a plan and review your order
Go to Plans in the account dashboard. First decide whether you prefer a monthly subscription or data you can use as needed. Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date, not at the start of the calendar month. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Check the amount shown in the dashboard before proceeding.
If your usage varies, compare the data packages: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They don't expire and remain available until used. The main difference between monthly plans and data packages is how they're billed and how long the data remains valid, so don't compare on price alone. There’s no device limit, but remember to account for data used across all your devices.
Before paying, check the plan name, amount, and billing method in your order. Follow the prompts to pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. Return to the dashboard and make sure the order and plan status have updated. Opening the payment page doesn't complete your payment. If the status hasn't updated yet, check the original order before submitting another payment.
VPNRich offers a 14-day money-back guarantee. See the Terms of Service for details on how to request a refund. To compare all available plans, visit plan pricing. Once you've chosen a plan, continue to get your subscription.
Get your subscription from the overview
Return to the account overview and check that your plan is active and data is available, then find the subscription section. The subscription link gives your client access to route configurations. It is not the website homepage or a payment link. Use the dashboard's copy button to avoid missing any characters at the end.
If the dashboard offers a one-click import option for your client, install the client first, then return here to import. Your browser may ask whether to open an app; make sure it's the client you installed before proceeding. If it doesn't open, leave this page open and manually add the subscription using the copied link. There's no need to keep clicking.
Treat your subscription link as private account information. Don't share it in public comments, group chats, or screenshots. When contacting support, start with your operating system, client name, and the error message. Hide the full link and account details. “Update subscription” in the client fetches the latest configuration; it doesn't create a new account or make another payment.
After copying your subscription, go to the Clients section of the dashboard and choose your operating system. Clients for Android, Windows, macOS, and Linux are available to download after you sign in. The iOS download option requires a purchased, unexpired plan. Downloading a client doesn't give it a working subscription; you still need to import the configuration.
Import the client for your platform
The steps below use the VPNRich client provided in the account dashboard and its remote subscription import feature. Install the client, import your subscription, then connect. Copying the link alone doesn't complete setup. After importing on any platform, confirm that the route list appears and select the subscription you just added.
Get a client from the account dashboard →
Windows: Add a Remote Subscription
In the dashboard's Clients section, select Windows to get and install the VPNRich client for your system. Open the app and look for “Configuration” or “Subscription.” Choose an option such as adding a remote configuration or importing from a URL, then paste the subscription link you copied into the address field. Enter a name you can recognize, save it, and update or download the configuration.
When the route list appears, select the configuration and open the proxy or routes page. If the configuration was added but the list is empty, check for a download error and make sure the pasted address is complete. Avoid changing advanced routing rules for now. Once the connection is verified, you can explore system proxy and other network modes as needed.
macOS: Import a Configuration and Check System Permissions
Get the macOS client from the dashboard, follow the system prompts to install it, and open the app. In configuration management, look for an option to add a subscription or import from a link. Paste the address and save it, or return to the dashboard and use the compatible one-click import option. Make sure the browser opens the correct app. Then update the configuration and set it as the active one.
The first time you use the network features, macOS may ask you to allow a proxy, network extension, or VPN configuration. Follow the prompt for the action you're taking. Only grant the relevant permission when asked; don't disable system security settings to troubleshoot. If the permission doesn't take effect, pause the connection and check the relevant approval in System Settings. The exact steps vary by macOS version. For details, see the Mac setup guide for beginners.
Android: Save Your Subscription and Allow the VPN Connection
Sign in to the dashboard to get the Android client, then install it following your device's prompts. Open the app's subscription or configuration management page, add a remote subscription, and paste the complete link. Save it and update the configuration. If you import through the dashboard's one-click option, return to the app and make sure the configuration was saved, rather than stopping at the browser confirmation prompt.
Select the configuration and start the connection. When Android asks to authorize the VPN connection, confirm that the request comes from the client you're using, then allow it. Once connected, switch to the app you want to use and test it. If the connection drops when the client runs in the background, check your system's background activity and battery restrictions for the client. After changing them, reconnect and test again; there's no need to repeatedly delete the subscription.
iOS: Get the Client from the Dashboard and Add Your Subscription
In an account with a purchased, unexpired plan, open the Clients section of the dashboard and use the iOS option to get the relevant client from the App Store. Once installed, return to the dashboard and use the compatible one-click import option if available. To import manually, open the client's subscription or configuration page, add a remote subscription, paste the full link, and save it. Then update the configuration.
The first time you connect, iOS will ask to add a VPN configuration. Follow the prompts and complete any authorization required by your device. Return to the client, select a route, and connect. If you imported the subscription but no routes appear, check that the configuration updated successfully, that it's selected as the active one, and that your plan is active in the dashboard. A VPN icon in the system status bar does not prove that every app is using the same route.
Choose a route and verify the connection
After importing the configuration, choose a region in the client's route list that suits the service you want to use. For general browsing, start with a nearby region. If a service requires a specific region, follow its account and location requirements. Routes include IEPL, transit, and direct connections. When starting out, keep the default split-routing rules and avoid changing multiple settings at once.
Select Connect or Start, grant any network permissions your system requests, and check whether the client shows a successful connection or an error. Then open the website or app you want to use and try something, such as loading a page, starting a conversation, or playing content. A page loading only confirms that this request succeeded; it doesn't guarantee the same result for other services.
To check your exit IP, visit My IP before and after connecting. With smart routing enabled, different requests may take different routes, so consider your routing mode when reviewing the results. An IP check alone can't prove that every app is using the proxy, and it can't replace testing access to the service itself.
If the client shows a connection but the service won't load, try another route in the same region. If that doesn't help, check that the right configuration is selected and that the app is using the intended proxy mode. Change one thing at a time to narrow down the cause. Streaming content and AI tools may also depend on your account region, service policies, and app status. A successful connection doesn't change content access or service eligibility.
Routine checks and troubleshooting
Before regular use, check your plan status and remaining data in the dashboard. Monthly subscription data resets on your activation date. Data packages don't expire, but you'll need to add more data if you use it all. If the route list changes, update the subscription in the client and reselect the configuration. Don't rely on old route names to decide whether the service is working.
If a subscription update fails, check these in order: account and plan status, whether the link is complete, whether your local network is working, and the error shown in the client. Being able to sign in to the website doesn't mean the client has downloaded the latest configuration. Likewise, a working client connection doesn't mean your browser is using the same proxy route. Check each separately to make troubleshooting easier.
If you can't resolve the issue, open a support ticket in the account dashboard and include your operating system, client, the step where the error occurred, and the exact error message. Hide your subscription link, password, and payment details before sharing screenshots. For more on routing rules, permission checks, and plan renewals, see the complete guide.
